We collaborated with Oats Kafe, a cozy and community-focused café known for its nourishing oatmeal bowls, specialty coffee, and inviting atmosphere, to offer our group 20% off all menu items. We partnered with La Gloria Mexican Coffee to offer UTRC members a special discount on their regular menu including 20% off all drinks and 15% off select food items.

Not Just Tourists – March 19, 2025
We partnered with Not Just Tourists, a volunteer-driven organization that donates surplus medical supplies to communities in need around the world. Together, we helped pack essential items into donated suitcases, which are then delivered by travelers on their international trips. Click here to learn more about Not Just Tourists
OEB Breakfast and Brunch Toronto – March 16, 2025
We partnered with OEB Breakfast and Brunch Toronto, a vibrant and upscale spot known for its chef-driven breakfast creations and locally sourced ingredients, to offer UTRC members a free smoothie after the run. Toronto Marlies – March 5, 2025
We partnered with MLSE and the @torontomarlies, the AHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs, to purchase discounted tickets to their game against the Cleveland Monsters!


KINmunity Fridge Run – March 4, 2025
We collaborated with UofT KINections for the KINmunity Fridge Walk/Run, an event highlighting Toronto’s Community Fridges—initiatives created to provide neighbourhoods with 24/7 access to food. Participants were invited to join us for this special Tuesday run to learn more about the project while connecting with new people along the way.

Carbonic Coffee – March 1, 2025
We wrapped up our run at Carbonic Coffee, a sleek and minimalist café known for its unique lineup of carbonated caffeinated drinks and cozy ambiance. After a scenic route through Christie Pits and Trinity Bellwoods, UTRC members enjoyed a 15% discount on the full menu—a refreshing and flavorful end to the outing. Engineers in Action – February 2, 2025
We partnered with Engineers in Action to host a 5K fundraiser run supporting the construction of a pedestrian bridge in Chunchuli Alto, Bolivia—an initiative aimed at improving access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities for local residents. Thanks to our community’s energy and generosity, we raised $390 to contribute to this impactful project.

Marchant’s School Sports – September 15, 2023 | November 21, 2024
We partnered with Marchant’s School Sports to design and produce custom Under Armour gear that lets UTRC members showcase their club pride in style and comfort. The collection featured two T-shirt designs, two long-sleeve shirt options, and one hoodie—all crafted from high-performance athletic materials. Whether on a run or around campus, our members wore their UTRC spirit proudly.
Extension Fitness – October 14, 2024
We teamed up with Lucas Fegaras from Extension Fitness to offer UTRC members an exclusive 5K warm-up session, along with access to promotions and special deals featuring Team Canada and the Olympic Games. Lucas is a seasoned personal trainer with a proven track record of working with Olympic and varsity athletes, as well as clients from diverse backgrounds. His dynamic coaching brought energy and expert insight to our evening run session.

The Nursing Undergraduate Society – October 5th, 2024
We teamed up with The Nursing Undergraduate Society to co-host a 5K fundraiser in support of Yonge Street Mission, an organization dedicated to combating poverty and providing community-based support across Toronto. Thanks to everyone’s participation and generosity, we successfully raised $540 to help further their impact.

UofT Triathlon Club – February 28, 2023 | October 1st, 2024
We joined the UofT Triathlon Club to offer 20 UTRC members a free trial of their track session interval workout.
We also joined them to “test our limit” at the Tri Club Time Trial Night.
The UofT Triathlon Club offer workouts led by coaches whom have extensive experience in competitive races and race training. The UofT Triathlon Club offers several professional training programs including spin, swimming, track runs, tempo runs, yoga, and brick workout sessions.

Blue Devils Athletic Club – November 2, 2023 | May 18, 2023 | June 13, 2024 | September 24, 2024
The UofT Run Club joined the Blue Devils Athletic Club during one of their adult run coaching sessions at the Riverdale Park East track.
The Blue Devils offer professional training services with a focus on teaching proper running mechanics and technique. Their sessions help improve speed, efficiency, and minimize risk for injury. The Blue Devils are passionate about creating an inclusive and welcoming community for runners of all levels with their head coaches being UofT alumni and many of their attendees being current or past UofT students. We had a great time learning about running form and doing an interval workout!

Hot Black Coffee – February 3, 2024 | April 6, 2024 | June 22, 2024
We partnered with Hot Black Coffee to offer UTRC members 15% off their Russian Tea, Nuclear Tonic, and Mint Cold Brew beverage. Hot Black Coffee is an award-winning cafe led by Momi, a national competition barista. They are known for their fresh pastries and food items made in house daily and their no Wifi policy which encourages individuals to have meaningful conversations and a calm place to unwind in downtown Toronto.
Hot Black Coffee has four locations but for this run we ended at their 245 Queen Street West location.
Canada Running Series – May 29, 2024
We partnered with Under Armour and Canada Running Series to host a Shakeout Run ahead of the spring race season. Representatives from both organizations joined us to share tips on tapering runs and to answer questions about gear and race registration. All attendees received a discounted registration for the Under Armour Toronto 10K and were entered into raffles for a free race entry and two pairs of UA Infinite Elite shoes.
Bevvy’s Alternative Beverages – February 24, 2024
We partnered with Bevvy’s (3 Nassau Street) to offer UTRC members 15% off all items in store. Bevvy’s is owned and operated by Ironman triathlete, Cristian Villamarin, and offers specialty beverages such as non-alcoholic sour beers, hop waters, sparkling wines, margaritas, and energy drinks. Iron Dragons Paddling Club – November 11, 2023 | February 10, 2024
We collaborated with the UofT Engineering Dragon Boat team to offer 15 of our members access to the team’s HIIT and strength workout at Cardio Go Gym. The UTRC had a blast during their 12 station 24 minute HIIT workout!

The Runner’s Academy – January 31, 2024 | May 25, 2023 | February 11, 2022
We worked with Dr. Chantelle Maryuen, a licensed chiropractor from The Runner’s Academy to offer UTRC members an interactive session on warm-up, strength and stability, and cool-down exercises geared towards runners. Chantelle received her BSc degree from UofT and founded/led her own running club at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
At this event, we also did a raffle – 10 lucky UTRC members walked away with free private strength and conditioning sessions led by Chantelle.

Clean Run with Green Speaking – November 19, 2023
We collaborated with the environmental activist organization Green Speaking to offer a “clean run” for UTRC members. We met at Queen’s Park and ran a 5k to Christie Pitts or 8k to Trinity Bellwoods to clean up trash in both parks. Cleaning supplies were kindly provided by Green Speaking.

Under Armour – October 16 and 18, 2023 | May 31, 2023
We collaborated with the Under Armour Brand House at the Toronto Eaton Centre to do a shoe demo showcasing their first long-distance and carbon-plated shoe, the Flow Velociti Elite!
We tested the shoes on a 5k run through Nathan Phillips Square and the CN tower. Once we arrived back at the store, we had fun mingling, sharing reviews on the shoes, and shopping! Under Armour provided UTRC members with free swag and a great 20% off in-store discount to help support our training gear needs.

New College Orientation Fair – September 4, 2023
We collaborated with New College UofT and hosted a table for our first ever appearance at an Orientation Clubs Fair! We challenged attendees to guess Toronto landmarks and locations from a variety of photos taken from past UTRC runs. We look forward to seeing our new friends soon!
Boxcar Social Harbourfront – August 19, 2023
We collaborated with Boxcar Social Harbourfront (235 Queens Quay West) to host our first UTRC general member social following our 8k Riverdale Park and Waterfront run! We had lots of good drinks and a fun time 🙂
SickKids Foundation – March 12, 2023
The UofT Run Club participated in the SickKids Campus Challenge by committing an act of bravery in solidarity with the patients at the Hospital for Sick Children. We pledged to complete a Queen’s Park lap challenge, with a goal of running at least 200 laps across all participants. We also fundraised to support the construction of the new SickKids hospital wing and their high priority pediatric clinical and research needs to improve the lives of children and families affected by illness.
On Sunday March 12, 2023 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM, 48 runners showed up to support the cause. In total, we ran 655 laps of Queen’s Park – approximately 511 kilometers, which surpassed our original goal by over three times! Special shout out to Melissa, Javier, and Janssen for running the most laps at 30 each. In total we raised $2,362.00. Thank you to everyone who ran and/or donated!
