On our Sunday January 22nd 2023 Tri-Park run, the cold weather and cloudy sky gave us the best atmosphere to grab a drink and some food with the club at Eataly.

For one of our run leaders, the hot chocolate here is always the way to go. Fresh, dense and chocolatey, it feels similar to the Angelina’s chocolate one drinks in Paris. How good is it competing against our classic Canadian Tim Horton’s hot cocoa? On average, for those who paid those $5, we give it an 8/10. It is rich and delicious, but the thickness and sweetness of it wasn’t as appetizing for everyone.

Tyler ordered an egg sandwich because it looked of “value for how big it looked”. He rated it at 6/10, as it was difficult to eat. We maybe also don’t recommend the cappuccino because it didn’t feel as fresh and maybe too-machine-made

The highlights? The apricot raising pastry was scrumptious. We also rate the atmosphere and vibe of the Italy cafeteria with a 9.5/10 (it may feel too crowded). Other than that, it is a lovely place to have an exquisite hot chocolate and sweet pastry with your friends or for a date.
